On the gadget front, I have upgraded to the new 27 inch iMac. It is absolutely gorgeous! The screen quality, performance and look and feel of it is amazing!

I started playing World of Warcraft again.. my old addiction… started from scratch. Living in Hong Kong though, i found it hard to find the European games and European game cards. This thing works out of the box on my Mac Mini. It has all the buttons you need, after getting used to it, it is quite easy to type on it and use the track pad ( which replaces your mouse)
And this baby can be used with a PS3 as well. So if you have a HTPC/HTMac, this is definitely a recommendation!

Anyways.. Short metro ride from Kowloon Station (about 30 minutes), we arrived at Disney. According to my friends who came along, it looked just like all the other Disneys… but smaller.

Initially I was super excited.. But when I realised the only ride for “adults” was Space Mountain… I did get a wee bit disappointed. But then I rode Space Mountain several times…. and was less disappointed

The parade was nice, food was typical fast food, and of course 75 percent of the park was merchandising shops.

Another good thing was that the park was empty. Had to barely wait in line for any ride…

All in all a bit disappointing, but still a fun day out.

But what you do have is beautiful beaches, gorgeous mountains/hills to hike on, amazing seafood and luckily enough I had gorgeous weather.

I took the boat from Central to Yung Shue Wan (there are two piers on Lamma island, one on each side of the island), and walked aroudn the little village for a bit. Saw some of the beaches and shops and generally chilled. Started walking to Sok Kwu Wan, which is on the other side of the island and holds the other pier. It was a nice 1 – 1.5 hour walk. you walk through the hills, pass by several beaches and pagodas, which give you a great view over the whole island. The only problem with the view was the big electricity plant on the island, which did ruin the view a bit.

After I reached Sok Kwu Wan, I roamed around the tourist shops a bit, sat down and had my favourite seafood all time: Steamed Prawns and Garlic steamed Scallops!

Chilled a bit in the sun for a while, took the boat back to central, and had a nice day out!
